The position requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and a willingness to maintain a clean, organized deli counter with strong product displays.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, provide recommendations, and fulfill orders with proper portioning and packaging.
• Food Preparation: Slice, package, and prepare deli items; monitor freshness and rotate stock; cook hot deli items as needed.
• Inventory & Sanitation: Assist with inventory control and FIFO; keep deli area clean and sanitized; follow food safety guidelines.
• Sales & Merchandising: Create attractive displays and upsell items, ensure accurate pricing and labeling.
