The Fresh Market in Florida is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure department freshness, merchandising accuracy, and strict food-safety standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will support deli inventory, rotation, and promotions, collaborate with department leadership on ordering and receiving, and help present attractive, well-stocked displays for guests. This role requires a friendly, proactive approach and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality ops.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with shelf-label systems or inventory tech a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during item transitions and promotions.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
