Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist in our store in Aiken, SC. You will ensure deli freshness, implement planograms, and maintain accurate signage while delivering exceptional guest service. The role supports inventory control, promotions, and seasonal events with a teamwork-driven approach.

You will work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, interact with guests in a friendly manner, and uphold food safety and company policies to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while achieving performance goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.

• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all TFM policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.

About the Position:
