Schnucks is seeking a Deli Clerk to deliver friendly service and maintain a clean, safe deli environment. You will handle lunch meats, operate slicers, and assist customers with product knowledge and requests.

Workdays may include nights and weekends; expected to follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE. This role offers opportunities for growth within a friendly, family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to translate pounds and ounces into decimals.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and on the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, deli cases, and backroom following food safety guidelines.
• Follow proper personal hygiene, time/temperature controls and sanitation principles.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses, offering thickness options to customers.
• Operate meat/cheese slicers, scales and wrapping equipment as required.
