Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a friendly deli service worker to join our team. You will help customers by slicing and packaging deli meats and cheeses, answer questions, and ensure the deli and self-service areas are clean, stocked, and appealing.

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service experience preferred (in food service, grocery or retail)
• Ability to assist customers with product selections and questions
• Medium physical work including standing, lifting and bending

Responsibilities

• Complete customer orders by slicing, packaging and labeling products
• Provide excellent service and answer customer questions promptly
• Keep deli cases and self-service areas clean and well-stocked
• Unload deliveries, stock cases and rotate inventory for freshness
