Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keeps deli service areas well stocked and appealing, greets customers, answers questions, and helps resolve concerns.
• Ensures freshness and correct prices/signs in display cases; rotates products and handles spoiled/expired items per procedures.
• Opens and slices meats and cheeses to customer specifications; packs items and prepares ready-to-eat foods and trays.
• Prepares items following company recipes and safety policies for hot or cold foods.
• May operate cash register and follow money-handling procedures; complies with tobacco and alcohol sale laws.
• Maintains sanitation, follows cleaning schedules and logs, and assists with inventory controls.
