Job summary

Qualifications

• Current food handlers permit once employed.
• Must be able to meet the minimum physical demands of the position.
• Must be 18 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Desired).
• Retail experience (Desired).
• Second language: speaking, reading and/or writing (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor QA standards.
• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer requests using proper deli equipment.
• Perform cashier functions.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Keep refrigerated coolers, store shelves, and displays fully stocked and conditioned.
• Inform customers of deli/bistro specials and suggest products.
