Responsibilities

  • Interview, select and train Team Members
  • Direct the work of Team Members
  • Appraise Team Members’ productivity and efficiency for promotions or status changes
  • Handle Team Member issues including complaints

  • Provide for the safety and security of Team Members or the store

As a Deli and Prepared Foods Team Leader, you’ll manage our team and keep it running like a well‑oiled machine. You'll be the one Team Members and guests look to for guidance in order to find the most delicious products to take home. You’ll understand and promote our Company's safety processes and requirements and be a leader by representing the organization in a professional manner with exemplary appearance, language and behavior. And you’ll always ensure we’re putting our best food forward with excellent preparation, production and display of products that show our Passion for Food philosophy. Leaders are accountable for the operating performance of the assigned department(s) at all times. Be a Leader by representing the organization in a professional manner. Promote and develop individuals with mutual respect, inclusion, diversity and dignity. Coach Team Members on a regular basis with timely feedback — identify opportunities for development and coach for success.

  • Communicate with the merchandising team to ensure that promotions are properly communicated to Team Members and guests.
  • Make innovative plans and suggestions to improve our business.
  • Review and analyze financial, LOB reports, and historical reports to improve performance in sales, profits, shrink, labor controls, and reduction. Oversee period inventories for accuracy and monitor weekly fluctuations in inventory and shrink dollars.

The hiring range for this position is $20.25– $23.625 per hour/year. This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. Eligible employees may be offered health, vision, and dental insurance, personal/sick paid time, 401(k) retirement savings plan, bonus potential, paid bereavement, vacation and paid holidays.
