Job summary

Refuel is seeking a Deli Manager to lead deli operations, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a clean, customer-focused environment while managing inventory, food costs, and presentation.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, analyze sales data to improve profitability, schedule coverage, and ensure vendor quality, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
• On-the-job training is provided for all new team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team that delivers friendly, efficient, and high-quality service.
• Oversee all deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and waste control to meet company and financial goals.
• Analyze sales and financial data to identify opportunities and improve profitability.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper product presentation at all times.
• Recruit, train, and coach team members to achieve performance and service standards.
• Schedule and supervise deli staff to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
• Maintain vendor relationships and verify order accuracy and product quality.
