Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Manager to lead the department, direct team members, manage inventory, ensure pricing integrity, and uphold training standards. This fast-paced role requires attention to detail and a drive for excellence to deliver results.

You will supervise, guide, and train staff, coordinate with other departments, and ensure proper rotation and stocking of deli items, cheeses, and CMS offerings throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality field or 5 years of related management experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and proactively assisting them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely information.
• Making recommendations and accommodating requests.
• Managing order guides/ordering deadlines/reducing shrink/damage.
• Direct teams to handle, slice and prepare meat, cheeses, and CMS throughout the day.
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job and through training platforms.
