Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. in Hood River, OR is seeking a Deli Team Lead to welcome customers, answer questions, and guide the deli team to meet quotas and standards. You’ll plan production and promotions with leadership and ensure stock quality across the deli, while delivering memorable shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers; assist with locating items and recommendations.
• Lead, motivate and coach the deli team to meet quotas and standards.
• Plan production and promotions with leadership; coordinate meetings with the leadership team.
• Ensure deli stock is adequate and ingredients meet quality standards.
• Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies to attract customers.
• Arrange deli items in displays to encourage purchases.
• Inspect deli items for established standards and track supplies.
• Place orders and manage inventory as needed.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and collaborate for satisfaction.
• Perform other duties to support company success.

What you’ll do

• Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Answer customer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
• Lead, motivate and encourage the deli team to ensure quotas are met.
• Direct meetings with the leadership team to effectively plan production and promotion goals.
• Ensure the deli is adequately stocked with quality ingredients and supplies.
• Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies to attract new customers.
• Strategically arrange deli items in display cases to encourage customer purchases.
• Inspect deli items to ensure that established standards are met.
• Track deli supplies and place orders, as needed.
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
• Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.

Position is eligible for a semi-annual bonus from 0 - 20% of base wages considering company performance and position goals met.

Note: Benefit eligibility may vary based on role, length of service, store location, hours worked, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
