Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist guests at the deli counter, slice meats and cheeses, and process transactions at the POS. You will maintain displays and ensure promotions are visible while delivering excellent customer service.

Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required. Prior deli experience is preferred but not required; basic POS knowledge and cash handling skills are favored.

Qualifications

• Cash handling skills preferred.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at the deli counter by recommending foods and cutting meats and cheeses.
• Process transactions on a POS register.
• Slice meats and cheeses and maintain display cases.
• Update displays and ensure promotions are showcased.
• Maintain clean and safe workstations and follow safety guidelines.
