Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to interact with customers and keep the deli area clean, stocked, and inviting. No experience?

No problem—we will teach you the basics and you will learn as you go. You will handle deli preparations like salads, sandwiches, fruit and parfait cups, follow food safety guidelines, and may cross-train in other roles such as store cashier or maintenance.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.

Responsibilities

• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
