Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. You will prepare salads, sandwiches, wraps, parfaits, and more according to guides, while ensuring food safety and quality.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; the role offers opportunities for cross-training and career development within a fast-paced, family-owned company with values of strong customer service.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to move 25+ pounds.
• Able to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
