Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC in Greer, SC is seeking a friendly deli team member to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, explain available products, and assist with sampling and product prep to ensure freshness and quality.

You will also support front-end duties to minimize wait times and help maintain cleanliness and organization across the deli, cooler, and prep areas. This role promotes teamwork and practical food-service experience.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, customer service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Perform assigned duties in a fast paced work environment while interacting with guests and team members.
• Explain Product available in specific area (ingredients, flavors, menu items).
• Actively provide samples to guests and explain offering as needed.
• Efficiently prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing and cooking).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness according to station guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management and/or satisfy request in a timely manner.
• Communicate temperature and/or product breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply and work area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standard.
• Perform front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
