Lowes Foods is seeking a friendly, team-oriented team member for our deli guest service role. You will greet guests, assist with product knowledge, and help with samples and selling while maintaining sanitation and station readiness.

The position emphasizes customer service, fast-paced interaction, and accurate handling of products with a neat appearance and adherence to uniform standards.

Qualifikationen

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, customer service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Aufgaben

• Provide polite greetings and interactions with guests.
• Perform duties in a fast-paced environment while interacting with guests and team members.
• Explain product availability in the area (ingredients, flavors, menu items).
• Actively provide samples to guests and explain offerings as needed.
• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing and cooking).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness according to station guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management and/or satisfy requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate temperature and/or product breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply and work area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standard.
• Perform front end duties to ensure 'no noticeable wait' standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
