Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, and ensure guest satisfaction with timely order completion and accurate pricing.

The role emphasizes safety, inventory, and merchandising standards across breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings, including hot and cold items and beverages.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods and handle heavy items safely.

Responsabilidades

• Direct department personnel and meet department goals; coordinate with store management.
• Select on-boarding and coaching of new team members; schedule staff.
• Offer product information, provide selling suggestions, and sample sales.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion to guest satisfaction.
• Oversee deli/food service preparation, merchandising, and safety guidelines.
• Rotate items to maintain quality and minimize shrink; audit invoices.
• Process cash transactions and use scale/printer for pricing accuracy.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and ensure proper safety equipment usage.
