Job summary

Buc-ee's in Temple, TX is seeking a Deli/Food Service Associate to help staff multiple stations with a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will be developing culinary skills while preparing a variety of foods and ensuring food safety and quality.

You will handle bakery items, jerky, BBQ, and more, following recipes and health guidelines. You’ll operate ordering kiosks and kitchen tech, interact with customers, and keep a clean, organized workstation throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant or retail experience preferred; kitchen line cook, busser, server or expediter is a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs may be required.
• Strong customer service skills and reliability are essential.
• Ability to follow recipes, health and safety guidelines, and maintain sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery items, jerky, BBQ, and other menu offerings according to recipes.
• Operate order kiosks and kitchen management systems to process customers quickly.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and communicate with team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and ensure proper food handling.
• Work across multiple stations and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Work weekends/holidays and flexible shifts as needed.
