Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and help customers find products with friendly, knowledgeable support. You will keep displays fresh and orderly, stock shelves, and work across departments to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

In a fast-paced grocery setting, you’ll use technology to complete tasks efficiently, follow safety standards, and contribute to a positive store environment where customers feel valued and cared for.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
