Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Deli Associate at 2615 Broadway, Everett, WA to deliver exceptional customer service, handle deli prep, slicing, stocking and daily department tasks in a fast-paced store environment.

You will maintain safety standards, assist in inventory, communicate promotions, and support department managers to meet sales and quality goals while upholding our Customer 1st philosophy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced store.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current food handler permit after employment.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate information to associates and promote teamwork.
• Adhere to laws, guidelines and safety procedures.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses to customers’ requests using proper equipment.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions.
• Inventory, stock, label and merchandise department items.
• Monitor inventory and price changes; supervise inventory process.
• Ensure proper temperatures and follow food safety regulations.
