Yoke's Fresh Market in Cheney, WA is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to oversee daily deli operations, guide associates, and deliver exceptional guest service. The role supports the Deli Manager and requires managing shifts, training staff, and upholding food safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position offers full-time hours, a pay range of $17.15–$22.50 per hour, and benefits including ESOP, 401K matching, health coverage, Paid holidays, and leave provisions.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Reads, analyzes, and interprets general business documents. Writes reports and business correspondences.
• Communicates effectively and pleasantly with all guests, vendors, and associates.
• Meets the state minimum requirement to work with slicers or other Deli equipment and tools.
• Valid State Food Handlers Permit
• Valid Driver's License or State ID Card

Aufgaben

• Report to shifts on time and lead with guest service and safety.
• Promote sales through guest discussions, product recommendations, and discuss current promotions and service information.
• Perform managerial duties in the absence of the Deli Manager including inventory, sales, and other bookwork.
• Merchandise existing products to promote increased sales.
• Practice Food Safety and train Shift Leads in food safety practices.
• Direct, coordinate, and participate in preparing, wrapping, serving, and packing deli products.
• Provide in-service training on equipment used in the Deli Department.
• Empower associates to use loyalty cards to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Participate in the Deli Department's accident reduction plan and safety protocols.
