Job summary

Hannaford in Wells, ME is seeking a Deli Associate/Department to maintain department appearance, quality and safety. You will build customer relations and provide enthusiastic awareness while supporting Hannaford’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead deli staff and supervise others.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all company policies and established standard practices.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and comply with policy.
• Assist in special projects and other functions as assigned.
• Assist in training other associates when assigned.
• Maintain solid communication in the department and organization.
• Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
• Support company safety standards; report repairs; keep work area safe.
• Treat coworkers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Develop product knowledge in deli (meats, cheese, salads, sandwiches).
• Understand department's standard practice manual and intent.
• Observe sanitation and food safety standards.
• Maintain department appearance and presentation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
