Job summary

Coborn's, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. The role focuses on delivering remarkable customer service, creating a fun atmosphere, and engaging guests with samples and suggestive selling.

Training is provided to help you learn quickly, with a positive attitude welcomed. You will handle slicing, weighing, labeling, and portioning meats and cheeses, prepare salads, and stock the deli case.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for guests.
• Prepare and dish up salads.
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (where applicable).
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked and visually appealing.
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products for sale.
• Follow food safety guidelines and health, safety and sanitation regulations.
