Job summary

ShopRite of Stirling in Stirling, NJ is seeking an Appy/Deli Clerk to support the daily operations of the Appy/Deli Department and deliver a great customer experience. You will assist the Deli Manager, ensure neat displays, and prepare products for sale with attention to pricing, rotation, and quality.

The role requires English literacy, basic math, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to work in varied temperatures while following company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• English literacy required for reading, writing and communication.
• Basic math skills for pricing and transactions.
• Ability to operate department equipment as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand through shifts.
• Experience with food handling and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Appy/Deli Manager with daily department operations.
• Replenish and prep Appy/Deli product; ensure clean, orderly displays.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing, and restocking.
• Operate slicers and wrapping equipment; maintain safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, proper rotation, and inventory monitoring.
• Provide friendly customer service and communicate with team.
