Job summary

Albertsons Companies seeks a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh items and welcome customers with friendly service. You will help customers choose from deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and grab‑and‑go options while maintaining quick, accurate transactions.

You will stock, clean, and monitor product freshness, working in a busy environment that rewards efficiency, organization, and teamwork. Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli items and assist customers with selections.
• Keep display cases stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Slice meats, assemble items, and portion products for grab‑and‑go orders.
• Maintain accurate labeling, pricing, and order accuracy.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures throughout the day.
