Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods, assist customers, and maintain clean, inviting deli displays. You will help customers pick from deli meats, cheeses, prepared items, and grab-and-go options, while ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate service.

The role includes stocking, labeling, and rotating items, monitoring freshness, and working with slicers and prep equipment in a busy environment. Prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli items and assist customers with deli selections.
• Keep the department stocked, clean, and organized throughout the day.
• Maintain displays and monitor product freshness and temperature.
• Handle transactions and process changes using register systems as assigned.
