Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace in New York is hiring an overnight Full-Time Deli Clerk BOH to join a busy, customer-focused team. This role offers an overnight schedule (10:00pm-6:30am) and a $1,000 signing and attendance bonus split into two installments for perfect attendance.

You will slice meats and cheeses, prepare fresh deli items, and help maintain a clean, inviting counter while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a deli or food service, including slicing meats/cheeses and making salads.
• Friendly, customer-focused, and passionate about providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Slice and prepare meats, cheeses, and other deli items to Uncle G’s high standards.
• Make deli salads, sandwiches, and other prepared foods.
• Keep counter, equipment, and work area clean and inviting.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Help with inventory counts, labeling, and packaging as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Support teammates and help the deli run smoothly daily.

Overnight roles are eligible for a $1,000 signing and attendance bonus, paid in two installments: $500 after three months and an additional $500 after six months, provided perfect attendance is maintained.
