Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing ‘fresh and easy meals’ and providing high-quality customer service. Your tasks include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Opportunities for growth include learning about products, equipment, and customer service excellence. We seek individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 4 hours continuously.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in coolers and freezers.
• Other duties as assigned.
