Job summary

Meijer in West Bend is seeking a Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You’ll build positive connections with customers and teammates and help shoppers find what they need.

You’ll maintain attractive displays, stock and merchandise per standards, use store tech to complete tasks, and follow food safety procedures. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments. You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
