Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk in Texarkana, AR. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service at the deli counter and help prepare and present a wide range of meats, cheeses, salads, and prepared foods.

Responsibilities include operating slicers, scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers, while maintaining cleanliness and food safety. A willingness to learn and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and prepared foods is a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Willingness to learn and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service at the deli counter.
• Prepare and display deli items with accuracy and care.
• Operate slicers, scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the deli section.

As a Deli Clerk, no one day is ever the same. You are someone who prides themselves on exceptional customer service and their knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and gourmet and hot case food items. You take great care in preparing delicious food that will keep our customers returning to the store time and time again. You will have the opportunity throughout your day to utilize various tools like our meat and cheese slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens, and/or cash registers.
