Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on friendly customer service, engaging guests with product samples and suggestive selling, and learning our processes.

Responsibilities include slicing, weighing, labeling meat and cheese, preparing salads, and stocking displays while adhering to food safety regulations. Training is provided to support success in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Willing to learn and provide friendly customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle food safely.

Overview

We’re hiring for a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team! We’ll provide the training; you just bring the positive attitude and desire to learn!

The primary focus of this position is to provide remarkable customer service to our guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere and actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling.

In this position, you can expect to:

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests


• Prepare and dish up salads


• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)


• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing


• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store


• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations

In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products.
