Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver excellent customer service across Fresh departments. You will share product knowledge, assist customers, and maintain fresh, attractive displays while stocking and rotating merchandise according to standards.

Significant emphasis is placed on safety, accuracy, and using store technology. This is a fast-paced role supporting multiple departments to keep the store running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and wellrun store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
