Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly customer service while maintaining fresh, well-organized departments. You will share product knowledge, assist customers in finding items, and ensure displays are inviting and up-to-date.

The role supports multiple departments and emphasizes safety and accuracy in daily tasks. Ideal candidates are customer-focused with good communication, comfortable using store technology, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate across departments such as Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and wellrun store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
