Job summary

The Walmart deli/bakery associates role focuses on preparing quality products and engaging with customers at the service counter. You will move merchandise to the salesfloor, maintain food safety, and support various departments from produce to bakery.

The position is part-time with shifts starting between 8:00am–11:00am or 1:00pm–4:00pm. You’ll help customers, stock displays, and ensure cleanliness and proper temperature control across the department while enjoying benefits and incentive

Qualifications

• Help customers find the products they are looking for.
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers at the service counter and move incoming merchandise to the salesfloor.
• Maintain proper food safety standards and clean shelves and departments.
• Verify dates and dispose of lesser quality food products.
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers make selections.
