Job summary

Walmart in Pierre, SD is seeking Deli / Bakery associates to prepare quality products and serve customers at the service counter. You will move merchandise to the salesfloor, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards to ensure a safe shopping experience.

The role includes preparing ready-to-eat foods, assisting with cake orders, and stocking displays. Shifts may start early in the morning or later in the day, with pay between $18.00 and $31.00 per hour plus full Walmart benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to follow food safety standards.
• Ability to stand and be active during shifts.
• Willingness to work early morning or evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find the products they are looking for
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready
