Food Lion is seeking a Deli/Bakery Customer Service Associate to provide quality service and maintain standards in the Deli Bakery Department. You will help with ordering, preparation, and merchandising while delivering fast, friendly help to customers.

Your role emphasizes food safety, sanitation, and following company guidelines. You will complete CBT and training, work in a team, and uphold safety practices, dress code, and local regulations while helping minimize shrink and maximize sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific functions.
• Must meet physical requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Follow all manuals for processing, labeling and product handling.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policies.
• Maintain sanitation of the department, equipment and proper food handling.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Use company tools like ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and keep a neat appearance.
• Complete CBT and required training as part of onboarding.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
