Job summary

Food Lion in Seneca, SC is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide quality customer service within the department and maintain standards according to the standard practice manual. You will help maximize sales through friendly service and minimize shrink with proper procedures.

Responsibilities include: assisting customers, following product handling guidelines, stocking, sanitation, and safety compliance while wearing the Food Lion uniform. Training and ongoing CBT may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Follow technical manuals for processing of product and labeling.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policies.
• Maintain sanitation of department and proper food handling/preparation.
• Understand and use ACIS and CAO tools.
• Adhere to company guidelines and safety policies.
• Report accidents per procedures and assist Manager on Duty.
