Job summary

Food Lion in Charlotte, NC is hiring for a Deli Bakery Customer Service Associate. Provide quality customer service, maintain standards, assist with product preparation, labeling, and proper food handling.

You will help ensure cleanliness, safety, and accurate merchandising while following company guidelines. You will wear the Food Lion uniform, complete CBT training, and work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on courteous service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and be able to perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, accurate customer service in the Deli Bakery.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise.
• Ensure sanitation and proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Follow policies, standard practice, and use company tools when applicable.
• Observe safety policies and report accidents.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and name badge.
• Complete CBT and training packets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
