Job summary

Daily tasks include stocking, labeling, and displaying merchandise, using ACIS and CAO tools for ordering, and upholding Food Lion's safety and dress code policies while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Follow technical manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policies.
• Maintain proper sanitation and food handling.
• Understand and use ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Adhere to company guidelines, safety, and dress code.
• Complete CBT, training packets and training aids as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
