Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a deli team member to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will assist customers, answer questions about deli products, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store area.

Responsibilities include slicing, preparing deli items, stocking, labeling, and inventorying department merchandise while following food safety guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products in the department and store.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions or make suggestions.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer requests using proper deli equipment.
• Prepare deli/bakery/bistro items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
