Job summary

Kj’s Market is seeking team members for flexible, part-time roles with weekly pay and benefits. You will greet guests, prepare and price products, and keep displays fresh while maintaining sanitation and order in the store. You’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth front-end and back-end operations and communicate guest needs to management.

Ideal candidates are friendly, able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and can stand for extended periods. 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guests' requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform front end duties to ensure guests arrival standard is maintained.
• Announcement of specials and sale information on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
