Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk in Michigan to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will connect with customers, keep displays appealing, and help customers find what they need.

The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting, and staying active in a fast-paced store, with teamwork across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
