Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, assisting with bakery/deli product preparation, and unloading deliveries with minimal supervision. This position emphasizes teamwork and reliable execution of duties in a retail deli setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rotates, stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies.
• Correctly prices all merchandise according to departmental guidelines
• Wraps and packs using correct trays/plastic wrap or containers
• Performs basic housekeeping in the deli area and uses equipment safely
• Cleans deli-bakery tools and equipment and maintains a neat work area
• Assists in producing bakery/deli products and may decorate cakes as needed
• Lifts and moves items up to 50 pounds; stands/walks for extended periods
• Receives and unloads truck deliveries and works with limited supervision
• Opens and closes on days assigned; follows guidelines and safety protocols
