Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to create a welcoming in-store experience across Fresh departments. You will connect with customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays clean, stocked, and visually appealing.

This role involves moving between Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery areas. A friendly, customer-first mindset and ability to stay organized are essential. Prior retail or food service experience can help, but is not required.

Qualifications

• Customer-first mindset and strong listening/communication skills.
• Ability to follow processes and safety standards.
• Experience in retail or food service is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
