POSITION SUMMARY

Provide prompt, hospitable service to our guests in a counter service restaurant setting. Assist in the preparation of food and cleanliness of the outlet. Deliver a lasting experience for our guests

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Operate computerized cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a neat and clean environment throughout work/guest areas.
  • Prepare and portion food orders prior to and during service period.
  • Adhere to proper sanitation of kitchen facilities and equipment and handling and preparation of food in accordance with local and state health codes.
  • Safe use of all kitchen equipment
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): Food Handlers Card and Smart Serv alcohol (we supply if not applicable)
  • Years of experience: 0
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. Seldom/Never sits.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
  • Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
  • Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
