Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a deli associate to provide friendly guest service and handle deli duties on site. You will greet guests, prepare products for sale, maintain freshness and sanitation, and assist with receiving and stocking.

You will also communicate guest requests and price items as needed. The role requires good communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods; applicants must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality required.
• Ability to work well with others (teamwork).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation standards in cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform front porch duties to maintain guest arrival standards.
• Announce specials and sale information on PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
