Valley Wide Cooperative in Wendell, ID is seeking a Retail Deli Associate for the C-Store. You will greet customers, assist with food orders, maintain a clean work area, and restock items as time allows.

This safety-sensitive role requires willingness to obtain safe food handling certification, strong money-handling skills, and a team-first attitude to support coworkers and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be willing to become certified in safe food handling upon hire.
• Acknowledge all customers, employees and vendors in a friendly and appropriate manner.
• Ability to multitask and determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.
• Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, other employees and vendors.
• Must have a strong team player focus in all interactions.
• Ability to properly handle money, give change and record multiple transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Must exhibit a professional and positive image.
