Job summary

MMLSSOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a Deli Associate to deliver friendly, attentive service while preparing and slicing deli products. You will interact with customers, take orders, answer questions, and help with product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhere to health and safety rules, stock products, and assist with inventory. This role requires standing for long periods, physical tasks, and flexibility to work

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent must have
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and slicing
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring portions
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Preferred: experience in deli/food service/retail; knowledge of food safety/sanitation; familiarity with deli equipment; customer service training; bilingual abilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to customer specifications and company standards
• Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders and answering questions about deli products and specials
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli work area, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health and safety guidelines
• Stock and rotate deli products to ensure freshness and minimize waste
• Assist with inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking product quality, and reporting shortages or discrepancies
