Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Deli Associate at our Fenton, MI location to prepare, package, label, and merchandise deli products. You will stock backroom areas, rotate and date inventory, and collaborate with other departments to support store growth. The role emphasizes safety, PPE, and guest experience guidelines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (GED) and at least one year of retail experience. Ability to read and interpret documents and perform basic math is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli products per production plan.
• Package and label deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise deli products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with deli products, rotating and dating cases.
• Communicate tasks, weights, and cleaning steps to associates.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• May assist other departments as needed.
