Job summary

ShopRite of Brookdale in Bloomfield, NJ is hiring a Glass NJ Appy/Deli Clerk to deliver a great customer experience and assist the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations while maintaining a neat, appealing department and complying with safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating a slicing machine, replenishing products, preparing items for sale, and completing price changes, inventory checks, and proper sanitation throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Able to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to operate slicer and related equipment safely.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain machinery.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and with food products.

Responsibilities

• Use a slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli product.
• Prepare Appy/Deli product for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and price marking.
• Maintain clean, neat displays and ensure proper rotation.
